PSA with tips on how to avoid the "Summer Slide"

The U.S. Department of Education produced this video with tips on how to reduce the "Summer Slide" or "Summer Brain Drain" that many studies indicate contributes to the academic achievement gap.

This year California-based non-profit THINK Together was able to develop meaningful linkages and partnered with several Southern California school districts to ensure that more than 14,000 students were able to participate in Summer Learning Programs. THINK Together is California's largest provider of academically-focused afterschool programs.
