Education Secretary compares reform initiative to Kennedy's race to put a man on the moon

At an event today in Washington D.C., and streamed live via Webcast, President Obama and U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan announced plans that will allow states leading the way in education reforms to compete for $4.35 billion in new funds to further support their efforts in education reform and bring innovation into classrooms.


Duncan: "This is the equivalent of education reform’s moon shot."
