Arne Duncan on Bush Administration, Newt Gingrich, Al Sharpton and more

Reporting from the Aspen Ideas Festival for The Atlantic, this video captures Bob Cohen's interview with U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan talking about standards, NCLB, Newt Gingrich, Al Sharpton and more.

Duncan gives credit to the Bush administration for "shining a spotlight on the achievement gap" in education with No Child Left Behind. But says, "We have to get better."

Secretary also shares his plans to hold education events this fall with Newt Gingrich and Al Sharpton to raise attention and dialogue about racial achievement gaps in education.
